Copper Canyon O Sunflower is a really neat doeling born this year. Her sire is Blissberry Oh Yeah and her dam is Blissberry BB Sunny day. I love, love, love this doe. She embodies so many of the qualities I admire and want to represent Copper Canyon bred Nubians. She is a tall, powerful doe with strength and a beautiful wedge shape. She is a powerful doe but retains wonderful dairy qualities at the same time and is definitely maturing early (100+ lbs by 6 months old). She’s also my little buddy and stays in my hip pocket whenever I am in the pen with her.

We will be breeding Sunflower this spring to freshen in the fall. We will be breeding her to Blissberry MD Thor which I think will be an extremely exciting pairing. We are breeding our tall, powerfuilly built doe whose grand dams are Blissberry Rain or Shine and Blissberry GoodyGoody Gumdrops to a Rain son, GoodyGoody grandson for a double line breeding on my two all time favorite Blissberry does. Wow! That is going to be such a fun breeding.
